As some of you may already know\, a few activists from Dresden traveled through Ukraine last October. They networked and exchanged ideas with local groups\, collectives\, and individuals to learn how activism continues in times of war. It offers Muay Thai and kickboxing training for anti-fascists\, anti-authoritarians\, queer people\, and anyone else still living in the city.\nWhat’s particularly cool about this gym is that it is completely self-organized and doesn’t even charge membership fees\, but is financed by voluntary donations. In addition\, they also make their space available for lectures and other events. We experienced the gym as a very important reference point for the anarchist and antifascist scene in Kyiv. \nDue to the war\, people are constantly leaving the city for various reasons\, so there is currently no stable group of people who can donate to pay the rent. Since the space still costs around €400 per month\, the gym is currently in a very difficult situation. To actively contribute to preserving the space\, we want to hold a solidarity event at malobeo to collect donations for the gym. Wie manche von euch vielleicht schon mit bekommen haben\, waren im Oktober letzten Jahres ein paar Aktivist*innen aus Dresden auf einer Reise durch die Ukraine. Hierbei wurde sich mit Gruppen\, Kollektiven und Einzelpersonen vor Ort vernetzt und ausgetauscht\, um zu erfahren\, wie Aktivismus in Zeiten des Krieges weiter geht. Dieses bietet Muay-Thai und Kickbox trainings für Antifaschist*innen\, Antiautoräre\, Queere Menschen und alle anderen Personen die noch in der Stadt wohnen. Das besonders coole an diesem Gym: sie sind komplett selbstorganisiert und erheben nicht einmal Mitgliedsbeiträge\, sondern finanzieren sich durch freiwillige Spenden. \nDarüber hinaus stellen sie ihren Raum auch für Vorträge und andere Veranstaltungen zur Verfügung. Wir erlebten das Gym als einen sehr wichtigen Bezugspunkt für die anarchistische und antifaschistische Szene in Kyiv. Da aufgrund des Krieges immer wieder Leute aus unterschiedlichen Gründen die Stadt verlassen\, gibt es gerade keine stabile Gruppe an Leuten\, die für die Miete spenden können. Da der Raum trotzdem ca. 400€ im Monat kostet\, befindet sich das Gym gerade in einer sehr schweren Situation. Um Aktiv zur Erhaltung des Raumes beizutragen wollen wir im malobeo eine Soli-Veranstaltung abhalten um Spenden für das Gym zu sammeln. Hierbei gibts: \n\nEine Diashow von Bildern der Reise durch die Ukraine\nSoli-Cocktails aus Kwas\nKüfa\nEine Auktion\nPostkarten mit Motiven aus der Ukraine zum Solipreis\nEine Ausstellung von Bildern aus der Reise (auch zu kaufen)\n\nDas ganze wird am 17.02.2026 im malobeo (Kamenzer Str. 36\, 01099 Dresden) ab 19 Uhr statt finden. Davor\, ab 16 Uhr\, ist noch ein Kleidertausch im malobeo\, kommt also auch gerne dort hin.
