Eine Flüsterübersetzung ins Englische wird angeboten. Die anschließende Diskussion und das Gespräch können sowohl auf Deutsch als auch auf Englisch geführt werden.  \nWir warten. Wir warten auf den Tee. Wir sind in einem der fünf selbstverwalteten Flüchtlingslager in Tindouf\, Algerien. Hier leben etwa 200.000 Saharauis\, seit sie vor 50 Jahren vor der marokkanischen Besatzung fliehen mussten. Aber von vorn… \nMit dem Comic “Genug gewartet” nimmt Fine (Autor*in und Zeichner*in) euch mit auf die Reise in die Flüchtlingslager und beleuchtet die geschichtlichen und politischen Hintergründe der letzten Kolonie Afrikas. \nDie Lesung ist eine Einladung: \n– auf drei saharauische Tees\,\n– zusammen mehr den über 50 Jahre währenden Kampf um die Unabhängigkeit zu erfahren\n– und im Anschluss mit einer Person aus der saharauischen Diaspora ins Gespräch zu kommen. \n— \n–English– \nReading and a conversation with the author and a person from Sahrawi diaspora. \nThe reading will be held in German. Whispered interpretation into English will be provided. The subsequent discussion and conversation may take place in both German and English. \nWe wait. We wait for tea. We are in one of the five self-governing refugee camps in Tindouf\, Algeria. Around 200\,000 Sahrawis have been living here since they were forced to flee Moroccan occupation 50 years ago. But let’s start at the beginning… \nWith the comic “Genug gewartet” (Enough Waiting)\, Fine (author and illustrator) takes you on a journey to the refugee camps and sheds light on the historical and political background of Africa’s last colony. \nThe reading is an invitation: \n– to enjoy three Sahrawi teas\,\n– to learn together about the struggle for independence that has lasted more than 50 years\n– and to engage in conversation with a person from the Sahrawi diaspora afterwards.
