In der Bibliothek befinden sich mehr als 2000 Bücher und Zines.
How-to-Ausleihe: Wenn ihr ein Buch ausleiht, tragt euch bitte in die Ausleihliste ein. Bringt das Buch in einem angemessenen Zeitrahmen wieder zurück ;) Legt es dann in die Rückgabebox. Um ein Buch zu spenden, legt es auf den Bücherspendenplatz. Fehlt euch ein Titel, tragt ihn in die Wunschliste ein.

Das malobeo bietet die Möglichkeit, im Grundstock der anarchistischen Bibliothek herumzustöbern. In erster Linie soll es ermöglichen auch ohne Geld auszugeben, kritische Inhalte zu lesen, auszuleihen und mit euren Freund*innen im Laden zu diskutieren. In der Kinderecke gibt eine Auswahl an emanzipatorischen Kinderbüchern. Die Bibliothek immer im Aufbau und kann gerne auch mit eurer Hilfe weiter wachsen. Habt ihr also Bücher zu Hause, die ihr bereits gelesen habt oder die nur im Regal stehen, dann bringt diese in unsere Räume und stellt euer Wissen zur Verfügung.

Grundidee libertärer Bibliotheken ist die Betrachtung von Publikationen als konserviertes Wissen. Lehnt man das Grundkonzept von Eigentum, als Herrschaftskonstrukt ab, so kann die Konsequenz nur sein, eben diese Ansprüche auch nicht auf (konserviertes) Wissen zu erheben. Die Prämisse lautet somit: Wissen nicht horten, sondern verbreiten!

How-to borrowing: When you borrow a book, please sign the borrowing list. Return the book within a reasonable time frame 😉 Then put it in the return box. To donate a book, place it in the book donation box. If you are missing a title, enter it in the wish list.

The malobeo offers the possibility to browse through the basic stock of the anarchist library. First and foremost, it should make it possible to read critical content without spending money, to borrow it and to discuss it with your friends in the shop. In the children’s corner there is a selection of emancipatory children’s books. The library is always under construction and can grow with your help. So if you have books at home that you have already read or that are just sitting on the shelf, bring them to malobeo and make your knowledge available.

The basic idea of libertarian libraries is to regard publications as preserved knowledge. If one rejects the basic concept of property as a construct of domination, the consequence can only be not to make these same claims on (preserved) knowledge. The premise is therefore: Do not hoard knowledge, but disseminate it!
