Solidarity Trip to Ukraine, October 2026: WE ARE FUNDRAISING 700
Supporting an animal shelter in Kharkiv together with Solidarity Collectives (Kyiv), Ukraine
We are activists from various anarchist groups in Dresden and are raising 700 together with Solidarity Collectives (Kyiv) for an animal shelter in Kharkiv, Ukraine. In October, we will travel to Ukraine on a solidarity trip to visit various self-organized collectives and organizations that support the people on the ground. We want to bring much-needed supplies, connect with local initiatives, exchange experiences, listen to the people living through the war, and help amplify their voices.
Russia’s war against Ukraine is a cruel, daily reality for the people living there. Despite burnouts, trauma, lack of time, energy, material and financial resources, and the draft, many continue their work and efforts for mutual aid.
As part of our humanitarian trip with Solidarity Collectives to Kharkiv, we will not only meet people displaced by the war but also visit a shelter for rescued animals. Thousands of animals are affected by the war. Activists are trying to bring as many as possible to safety from the front lines. Many of them live in shelters until they are hopefully adopted.
To continue this work, resources are urgently needed. We are raising funds for food and medical assistance. Additionally, we need to cover part of the costs for our solidarity trip. For these reasons, we ask for your support in the form of donations.
