Podcast: Being Black, Queer and so much more in Europe
In this year’s episode of Luana’s Conversation, you get to listen to the thought processes of two black queer people. The invited person is Zeynab Kirikou Gueye, an interdisciplinary artist, researcher, community organiser, founder of a digital queer feminist platform and DJ.
Zeynab’s practices are influenced by their Senegalese and Czech heritage, their love for pro-Black queerness, intersectional feminism and the interest in natural, cultural ecology and the possibilities of dreaming of visionary futurisms in the midst of social depression.

Radio project Aussitzen Extended
Whoever says „Neustadt culture“ must also say concert cellar, neighbourhood meeting place and kitchen-for-all. Somewhat dented and dusty, the evening life is making its way to new greatness. The first real summer in years floods us daily with exhibitions, concerts and parties, but the long sitting is still deep in our bones. The dancing legs are rusty and the old poetry ear aches at the slightest rhyme. If you still don’t want to miss anything, you can stomp, listen and dream on several floors at the same time.
Aussitzen Extended is once again intended to activate spaces and active people in the independent scene, to revive cultural habits, to fuel output and exchange and to lend a hand to projects with running costs. All this with minimal risk of infection, regardless of any relaxation or tightening of regulations. At this stage, thanks to the slightly positive development, we are planning to hold many events hybrid, i.e. open to the public with a recording for the digital world.

Podcast: Schwarz, Queer und so vieles Mehr sein in Europa
In der diesjährigen Gesprächsfolge von Luana, dürft ihr den Gedankengängen zweier schwarzer queerer Personen lauschen. Die eingeladene Person ist Zeynab Kirikou Gueye, ein:e interdisziplinäre:r Künstler:in, Forscher:in, Community Organizer, Gründer:in einer digitalen queer-feministischen Plattform und DJ.
Zeynabs Praxen sind beeinflusst von their senegalischen und tschechischen Herkunft, their Liebe für pro-Black queerness, intersektionalem Feminismus und their Interesse für natürliche, kulturelle Ökologie und die Möglichkeiten zu erforschen inmitten sozialer Depression von visionären Futurismen zu träumen.

Radioprojekt Aussitzen Extended
Wer „Neustädter Kultur“ sagt, muss auch Konzertkeller, Nachbarschaftstreff und Küche-für-alle sagen. Etwas verbeult und eingestaubt, macht sich das abendliche Leben auf zu neuer Größe. Der erste richtige Sommer seit Jahren überflutet uns täglich mit Ausstellungen, Konzerten und Partys, doch das lange Sitzen steckt uns allen noch tief in den Knochen. Die Tanzbeine sind rostig und das alte Poesiegenussohr schmerzt beim kleinsten Reim. Wer trotzdem nichts verpassen will, kann hier auf mehreren Parketten gleichzeitig stampfen, lauschen und träumen.
Aussitzen Extended soll einmal mehr Räume und Aktive der freien Szene aktivieren, kulturelle Gewohnheiten wiederbeleben, Output und Austausch anheizen und Projekten mit laufenden Kosten unter die Arme greifen. All dies bei minimalem Infektionsrisiko, unabhängig von Lockerungen oder Verschärfungen der Auflagen. Zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt planen wir dank der leicht positiven Entwicklung, viele Veranstaltungen hybrid durchzuführen, also offen für Publikum mit einem Mitschnitt für die digitale Welt.
